| Wonder if anyone has been in such a situation ? They get their first salary and the next day its all gone into someone else's pockets - i.e. stolen. Couldn't believe it myself ! On Sunday, I had been to the New Shanti Sagar in Koramangala. After paying the bill through my new debit card, the waiter coolly forgot to give me back my card, and I obtusely forgot to take it. The result, when I saw my bank balance today, I was staring at "Total Available Balance = 335.00". Just 24 hours back, that was a nice plump figure.... Well, I learnt a lot of lessons today and will be learning how to file my first FIR tomorrow, so in that regard there is always a good lesson to be learnt. But surprisingly, it still hasnt sunk in. It's sort of irrelevant and seems superficial. Maybe because I have never been responsible with money before or cared for that matter. All these years money has never gained importance and was always secondary, in fact I was much more worried about a problem with my sound card last week (and to top it : it's a cheap onboard one)! Whatever the outcome, one thing is clear, that the days of irresponsibility are over and what better way to welcome it than losing one's first salary ! | ||||||||
